For Editors

Vet every submission for AI-generated text.

Batch-analyze a whole freelance pipeline in one upload. Sentence-level evidence you can cite back to the writer. Per-check pricing that scales — $9.99/mo for 1,000 submissions.

Why editors choose ShaamAI

Batch-scan a full freelance pipeline

Drop a ZIP of the week’s submissions, get a sortable report with a row per file. CSV export on Ultra routes straight into your commissioning workflow.

Sentence-level evidence

Every report highlights the exact sentences that triggered AI signals — actionable feedback you can send back to a freelancer instead of a black-box score.

Per-check pricing that scales

$9.99/mo for 1,000 checks at 5,000 words each. No per-seat negotiations, no enterprise contract, no API quota to forecast. It just works.

A QA workflow for every freelance batch

  1. 1

    Zip the submissions

Collect the week’s deliveries into a single .zip of .docx / .pdf / .txt files. No file-naming requirements — the report preserves each filename.

  2. 2

Upload in one batch via Pro or Ultra

One drag-and-drop runs every file through the detection pipeline. Results stream back as each submission finishes analyzing.

  3. 3

Sort by AI score, drill into sentence-level detail

Start from the top of the list. For anything above your threshold, open the per-file report to see which specific sentences triggered the signal.

  4. 4

    Send evidence-based feedback to freelancers

Quote the flagged sentences back to the writer and ask them to walk through their process. A specific conversation beats a generic accusation every time.

What ShaamAI is — and isn’t

We would rather be useful to you than oversell what the tool can do.

What ShaamAI is

  • • A QA layer for freelance-written content at scale
  • • Evidence you can bring to a kill-fee or revision conversation
  • • A feedback tool — specific flagged sentences, not just a score
  • • Batch-first — built for editors moving through a pipeline

What ShaamAI isn’t

  • • A plagiarism checker — it looks for AI-generation signals, not copied text
  • • A verdict on “hire or fire” — high scores are signals, not proof
  • • A replacement for editorial judgment — it ranks, you decide
  • • 100% accurate — no detector is, and we will always be honest about that

Editor FAQ

How many submissions can I batch-analyze per month?

Pro ($0.99/mo) includes 100 checks per month and Ultra ($9.99/mo) includes 1,000 checks per month. Each check supports up to 5,000 words. Batch uploads — multiple files or a ZIP archive — are available on Pro and Ultra. For most content shops, Ultra covers a full freelance pipeline with room to spare. See pricing for the breakdown.

Can I export a per-submission CSV report for my team?

Yes. Ultra supports CSV export across a batch — one row per submission with the aggregate AI score, confidence rating, and word count. That is what most editing teams route into their commissioning or kill-fee workflow. Sentence-level detail stays in the per-file report for evidence when you need to push back on a freelancer.

What if a freelancer disputes the AI score?

Treat the overall score as a signal and the sentence-level highlights as the actual evidence. Send the freelancer the specific flagged sentences and ask them to walk through how they wrote them. If the sentences are scattered and the confidence is low or medium, that is a conversation worth having. Do not make a kill-fee decision on a score alone. Read our guide on false positives and how to interpret them.

Does ShaamAI integrate with Google Docs or Dropbox?

Not directly. ShaamAI is a standalone web app — you upload files or paste text. Most editors export from Google Docs or Dropbox and upload a batch. We chose the standalone route to keep the privacy story simple: no third-party OAuth scopes, no document access beyond what you upload, and no storage of the submissions themselves.

How do I handle content that’s partially AI-generated?

The sentence-level view is built exactly for this. Partial AI use usually shows up as clusters — an intro paragraph written with AI, then hand-written anecdotes, then an AI-written conclusion. Look for clusters of flags rather than evenly spread signals. That pattern usually indicates AI-then-edit, not whole-cloth human writing.

Is ShaamAI usable for content-shop quality control?

Yes — that is a core use case. Most content shops use ShaamAI as a first-pass QA layer: batch-scan a week of freelance deliveries, sort by score, investigate the top of the list, and route evidence-based feedback back to writers. It is not a replacement for human editorial judgment; it is a filter that saves your senior editors time.
