Can teachers tell I ran my essay through ShaamAI?

No. ShaamAI is a private tool you run on your own machine — there is no shared report, no teacher-facing dashboard, and no integration with Turnitin, Canvas, or Google Classroom. Your draft is analyzed over HTTPS and discarded. Only anonymous metadata (word count, score) is retained on our side, and none of it is linked to your school.

What if my genuine essay gets flagged as AI?

Every AI detector has a false-positive rate, and formal or concise writing styles can trigger AI signals even on genuine work. That is the whole reason to run a pre-submission check: if specific sentences are flagged, rewrite them in your own voice and re-check before you submit. Does ShaamAI work on essays I wrote but heavily edited with Grammarly?

Yes. Grammarly rewrites can sometimes flatten your voice into patterns that look AI-generated to a detector, even though you wrote every original sentence. ShaamAI will show you exactly which sentences look AI-like, so you can decide whether to restore your original wording before submission.

Is this a way to cheat on assignments?

No. ShaamAI is explicitly a defensive tool: you run it on your own writing before you hand it in, to catch sections that might be misread by a detector. We do not offer a humanize-to-evade mode, and we will not help anyone pass off AI-generated work as their own. If you are looking for a tool to cheat, this is not it.

No. There is no way for a teacher to see that you ran a check, what the score was, or which sentences were flagged. The report stays on your screen. ShaamAI is built for individual use — there is no institutional dashboard and no data sharing with schools. Teachers use the teacher-facing side of the tool on their own accounts, which stays separate from yours.
