These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ShaamAI Detector (shaamdetector.com), operated by Crescent Mission LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service Description

ShaamAI Detector is an AI text detection software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. We offer free and paid tiers that analyze text using statistical algorithms and neural network models to estimate the probability that text was generated by artificial intelligence. Free-tier detection runs entirely in the browser; paid tiers may include additional server-side features such as the AI Humanizer and Deep Scan.

Acceptable Use

You may use ShaamAI Detector for personal, educational, and professional text analysis purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, discriminate against, or target any individual
• Use detection results as the sole basis for determining academic dishonesty or taking punitive action against any person
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service in a manner that degrades performance for other users
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission

Account Terms

Accounts are managed through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. All payment processing is handled by Stripe in accordance with their terms of service. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the text you submit for analysis. ShaamAI Detector does not claim ownership of your content. Crescent Mission LLC retains all rights to the ShaamAI Detector service, including its algorithms, software, design, branding, and documentation.

Detection Accuracy

ShaamAI Detector provides probabilistic estimates of whether text was generated by AI. Detection results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate and should be used as one signal among many when evaluating text authenticity. We do not warrant that the service will correctly identify all AI-generated or human-written text. Users should exercise independent judgment and not rely solely on detection scores for consequential decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crescent Mission LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the service; (b) any action taken in reliance on detection results; or (c) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Texas.
