Crescent Mission LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates ShaamAI Detector (shaamdetector.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

AI Detection Processing

Our AI detection feature uses a proprietary deep learning model to analyze text. When you submit text for analysis, it is sent to our servers for processing by the AI model. Your text is not permanently stored after processing is complete and is not used for any purpose other than delivering your detection results. We do not use your submitted text to train or fine-tune our models.

Humanizer and Premium Features

Paid features such as the AI Humanizer also require server-side processing. When you use these features, your text is sent to our servers for processing. As with detection, text submitted for these features is not stored after processing is complete and is not used for any purpose other than delivering the requested result.

Information We Collect

Anonymized Usage Metadata

We collect anonymized metadata such as word counts, detection scores, and timestamps. This data does not include the text you analyze and is used to improve our algorithms and service quality.

Firebase Authentication Data

If you create an account, we collect the information provided through Firebase Authentication, including your email address, display name, and profile photo. This data is used solely to manage your account and provide personalized features.

Payment Data

If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment information. We do not store your credit card details. We receive limited billing information from Stripe (such as subscription status and billing email) to manage your subscription.

Cookies

We use a single __session cookie for authentication purposes. This cookie is httpOnly, has a one-hour expiry, and is required for authenticated features to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how users interact with our service. Analytics data is anonymized and used to improve the user experience. GA4 may set its own cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate ShaamAI Detector:

  • Firebase (Google) — Authentication and Firestore database
  • Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions
  • Google Analytics 4 — Anonymized usage analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Data Retention

Anonymized usage logs are retained for service improvement purposes. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@shaamdetector.com.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your information is used solely to provide and improve the ShaamAI Detector service.
